               तूटली तार अशी............. 

आज चालता त्या पायवाटेने एकटी

पावले अवघी रक्ताळली

पुसता मज प्रश्न कुणी

सखी तुझी का नसे तुज बरोबरी

ह्रदयातली जखम पुन्हा ओलावली

नसे सखी हात आज तुझा हाती

तू रंगलीस कुण्या रंगी

झाले मी रंगहीन अशी

सांगु कोण्या शब्दांनी

परके घन दाटता अपुल्या मैत्रीच्या अंगणी

पुरती कोलमडून पडते बघ मी

वेडावून जाती साऱ्या आठवणी क्षणोक्षणी

कशी तुटली तार अशी ना समजे दैवाची खेळी

मीच का पडते तोंडघशी

दुःख का नेहमी माझ्या भाळी

हाच प्रश्न टोचतो मनी

ज्याचे उत्तर नसे कुठल्याही पानी........................

Blood relations are decided by God, but friends are the relations we choose to be with...At various turns in our life we meet unknown people, slowly they become known and are labeled as "friends"..
